Artichoke Chicken
6-8 chicken pieces (breasts or thighs) 1 small onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 cup butter 3 tablespoons butter 2 cup chicken broth 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 3/4 cup sherry 1/4 cup chives 1 - 6 ounce can artichoke hearts 1 cup heavy cream 1 cup mushrooms
Saute onion and garlic until transparent in 1/2 cup of the butter. Add flour. Add chicken broth slowly. Add salt, seasoned salt and nutmeg. Add 1/2 cup sherry and cook at medium for 30 minutes. Dust chicken in flour and fry in butter until almost done, about 6 minutes on each side. Add sauce and remaining ingredients. Cook uncovered about 15 minutes.
