Baked French Toast
12 cups of cubed bread. Cut bread into one inch cubes 8 eggs 3 cups half and half 3/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons vanilla
Spray a 13x9 casserole dish. Place bread cubes on bottom.
In a large bowl, beat eggs, half and half, sugar, cinnamon, salt and vanilla. Pour over bread cubes. Refrigerate at least 4 hours, or overnight.
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Bake, uncovered 25 to 35 minutes. Should be golden brown.
You can top this with maple syrup, fresh fruit, jam, or fruit sauces.
