Banana Bread
3 over-ripe bananas
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour (do not sift)
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mash bananas with fork. Stir
in remaining ingredients. Pour into greased (buttered) bread
pan. Bake at 325° for about 70 minutes.
For taste variations, add
chopped nuts or raisins. If you like banana and chocolate, add
chocolate chips to one loaf.
