Chicken and Apricot Pasta

1 package corkscrew pasta, cooked according to package directions
2 chicken breasts, cooked and sliced
1 1/2 cups half and half
1 - 17 ounce drained apricot halves, cut in half
1/3 cup chopped green onions
2 tablespoons butter
salt and pepper to taste

In a saucepan, simmer the half and half. Add everything but chicken to the half and half. Pour sauce over HOT cooked pasta.
