Chopped Liver
1 pound chicken livers
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3-6 onions, chopped
6 hard boiled eggs
salt and pepper to taste
Wash chicken livers
thoroughly. Saute onions in butter until golden brown. Cut
livers and brown with onions, until no more blood shows when
pricked with fork. Do not overcook. Grind the eggs, liver and
onions together. Season with salt and pepper and
refrigerate.
