Crab Melt Sandwiches
Any type of buns or rolls
2 cups of flaked crab meat, fresh or canned
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
5 tablespoons fine chopped scallions
Mix the crab meat, celery,
mayonnaise, cheese and scallions in a large bowl. Spread onto
one half of the roll or bun. Put the top half of the roll or
bun on and put the sandwiches on a baking sheet. Cover loosely
with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
Note: Try different types of
cheeses for different flavors. Try making these sandwiches on
croissants also, you can easily double the
recipe.
