Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 pound fresh
mushrooms
2 cups sweet onions1 cup cold water
1 can chicken soup
1 cup cream
1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
3 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Grate the mushrooms and onions. Melt the butter and saute
onions and sugar until brown. Add mushrooms and saute for 3
minutes. Stir in flour until smooth. Add cold water and stir
until blended. Add can of soup and simmer for 15 minutes. Just
before serving, stir in cream.
