Crunchy Sesame Chicken Thighs
I dont know why we bought a pack of sesame seeds, but when I found it laying in the back of of the kitchen shelf, I recalled this easy recipe. If you like the flavor and smell of sesame seeds, you will sure enjoy this dish.
8 chicken thighs
2 large eggs
1 cup all_purpose_flour
1 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
2 tablespoon sesame seeds
Fresh ground black pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
Step: 1 Rinse chicken thighs under cold running water, let drain in a colander for 10 minutes, and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Meanwhile mix sesame seed and breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Beat eggs and season with salt and pepper.
Step: 2 Dredge thighs in the flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and roll in the sesame and breadcrumbs mixture. Take care that each thigh is completely coated. Heat the oil in a deep heavy skillet or deep fryer. Drop a bread cube in the oil and if it turns gold brown immediately, the oil is hot enough.
Step: 3 Deep fry the thighs in the hot oil until golden brown and crunchy. Take care to not crowd the chicken pieces in the pan. Drain on absorbing paper for a few minutes before serving.
