Farfel
Kugel
5 cups matzah farfel
5 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
4 ounces margarine, melted
1/2 cup ground nuts
2 bananas, mashed
2 large apples, cored and grated
1 teaspoon salt
Place farfel in a bowl, cover with cold
water and drain immediately. Add the eggs, sugar, salt and
melted margaine. Mix, then add the apple and banana. Mix and
add 1/4 cup of the nuts.
Pour mixture into casserole dish and
sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake at 350 degrees about 60
minutes. Cut and serve.
