Ginger Cookies

3-4 cups flour
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup dark molasses
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
white sugar for rolling

Cream butter, brown sugar and 1/2 cup white sugar until fluffy. Add egg and molasses and mix. Add dry ingredients and mix well.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll each ball in sugar before placing on baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
