Baked Rice With
Mushrooms
1/2 cup uncooked long
grain rice
1 1/3 cups beef or chicken broth
1 cup sliced fresh mushroom
1/2 onion, diced
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
Mix all ingredients and pour
into a casserole dish. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes, or
until rice is done. You can also use a vegetarian broth to make
this dish vegetarian.
You can also use onion soup mix instead of real
onion.
