Onion Cheese Bread

1 small package corn meal muffin mix
1 cup creamed styled corn
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup grated sharp american cheese
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 large onion, chopped
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk

Melt butter in frying pan. Add onion and saute until golden brown. Pour off butter in 9x9x2 cake pan.

Pour muffin mix into bowl. In seperate bowl, blend egg, milk and corn. Pour into muffin mix and mix. Spread in baking pan. Top with onions, then sour cream and cheese. Bake 35 minutes at 425° or until golden brown.
