Spinach Vegetable Dip

2 - 1.4 ounce envelopes of vegetable soup mix
2 - 10 ounce packages of frozen chopped spinach
2 cups of sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
2 - 8 ounce cans of water chestnuts, chopped (you can use one can depending on your taste)
6 green onions, chopped very fine

Thaw and drain spinach. Combine spinach, sour cream and mayonaisse and mix. Add water chestnuts and dry soup mix. Mix well. Add chopped green onions and mix. Chill for several hours to allow flavors to mix.
