The Tupperware Chef Series Cookware will cook on gas, electric, ceramic and on the induction cooking system. The induction cooking system is used a lot in Boats and RV’s as it is a safer cooking system. It doesn’t heat the kitchen and the cook top is cooler. It uses magnets to circulate the heat and heats only the food. It is a cost efficient way of cooking, costing only 6 cents an hour to use. Being 85% efficient verses gas at 40%.
