Caramel Cinnamon Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cup sifted flour
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons shortening melted

Instructions

  1. Grease muffin pans and place 1/2 teaspoon of butter and 1 teaspoon brown sugar in each cup.

  2. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together.

  3. Beat egg; add milk, shortening and remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar.

  4. Add to sifted dry ingredients, stirring only enough to dampen all the flour.

  5. Fill prepared muffin pans 3/4 full and bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
