Green Onion Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bunch green onions green and white parts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter diced (softened)
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Use your fingers to mix together everything but the buttermilk.

  2. Your dough will be course and lumpy.

  3. Add buttermilk and mix with a fork just until dough comes together.

  4. Form the dough into a ball, place on a well-floured surface and roll out 1/2 inch thick.

  5. With a round cutter, cut out biscuits and place on a greased cookie sheet.

  6. Bake until golden brown, about 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
