Tomato Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil finely shredded
  • 1 can refrigerated flaky biscuits
  • 2 medium size tomatoes thinly sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix together mayonnaise, salt, pepper and basil.

  2. Press each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.

  3. Place biscuit circles on a lightly greased cookie sheet.

  4. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 minutes.

  5. Spread each biscuit evenly with about 2 teaspoons mayonnaise mixture.

  6. Top evenly with tomato slices.

  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 minutes more or until mayonnaise mixture is bubbly.
