Sloppy Joe Tarts Recipe


  • 1 package refrigerated already done pine crust (room temperature)
  • 1/2 pound ground beef/ ground turkey
  • 1 cup prepared sloppy joe sauce (any brand)
  • 1/2 cup green pepper finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons flour


  1. Unfold pie crust and lay out flat. 

  2. Sprinkle flour over the crusts.

  3. Using a biscuit cutter, cut out 2 inch round circles to form tart crusts.

  4. Put one circle into each mini muffin tin slot.

  5. Prick with fork. 

  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 450 degrees.

  7. While these are baking, brown ground beef and bell peppers in a frying pan.

  8. Drain and add sloppy joe sauce.

  9. Heat through.

  10. Spoon mixture into tarts.

  11. Serve immediately.
