Brie En Croute Recipe
- 1 sheet filo dough defrosted
- 1 wedge Brie or 1 small Brie wheel
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 2 ounces honey
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
Roll out Filo dough and wrap around brie.
Place remaining ingredients in sauce pan and heat over low flame until margarine is melted. Stir mixture.
Put Brie into a flat baking dish. Pour mixture over Brie.
Bake until Filo dough is golden and Brie is melted (approx. 15 minutes).
Serve immediately with crackers, baguette rounds, or lavosh.
