Spinach and Beef Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds hamburger meat
  • 1 package spinach chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • grated cheese for top

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger meat.

  2. Add spinach and mushroom soup.

  3. Stir through.

  4. Pour into casserole dish.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly.

  6. Add cheese to top and put back in oven until cheese begins to brown.

Beef Stroganoff Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds hamburger meat
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 package wide noodles cooked and drained
  • 6 green onions chopped
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the meat with the garlic, salt and sugar.

  2. Add remaining ingredients, except cheese.

  3. Drain and pour into 2 quart casserole dish.

  4. Sprinkle with cheese and bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Chicken Divan Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 10 oz packages frozen broccoli cooked and drained
  • 2 cups chicken diced, cooked
  • 2 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder

Instructions

  1. Mix together the broccoli, chicken, soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry powder.

  2. Pour into casserole dish.

  3. Sprinkle cheese on top, then bread crumbs.

  4. Top with melted butter.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Chicken Mushroom Casserole Recipe

Chicken Mushroom Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked cubed chicken
  • 1 4 oz can mushrooms drained
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 7 ounces cooked spaghetti
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Melt butter over low heat.

  2. Add both soups and mushrooms. Mix thoroughly.

  3. Add sour cream and mix well.

  4. Add chicken and spaghetti.

  5. Pour into casserole dish.

  6. Sprinkle cheese over the top.

  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Spinach and Cottage Cheese Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen spinach thawed (do not drain)
  • 32 ounces cottage cheese
  • 8 ounces grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 pound butter softened
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. Place the cottage cheese into a bowl.

  2. Add the eggs, unbeaten. Mix and then add the cheddar cheese and butter.

  3. Mix again and then add flour. Mix again and finally fold in spinach.

  4. Mix and pour into casserole dish.

  5. Bake about one hour at 350 degrees.

  6. Note: use non fat cottage cheese and a mixture of 3 real eggs and the equivalent of 3 eggs with an egg substitute for a much healthier version of the recipe.

Cheese Souffle Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4-6 slices of bread
  • 3 cups grated cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Layer bread and cheese in greased one quart casserole dish, starting with bread.

  2. Beat eggs, milk, eggs, salt, pepper, mustard and thyme together.

  3. Pour over bread mixture.

  4. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour in a pan of hot water.

Tuna and Cashew Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 3 oz can chow mein noodles
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large can tuna
  • 1/4 pound cashew nuts
  • 1 cup celery diced
  • 1/4 cup onion minced
  • 1 can mandarin oranges
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine 1/2 of the noodles with the remaining ingredients, except oranges.

  2. Mix well and place in 2 quart casserole dish.

  3. Top with reserved noodles.

  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.

  5. Garnish with mandarin oranges, after cooking.

Chicken and Cashew Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips
  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons diced onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped cashews
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Mix together chicken, celery and cashews.

  2. Spread on bottom of casserole dish.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, onion, lemon juice, mayonnaise and sour cream.

  4. Spread over chicken.

  5. Slice eggs into mixture and gently mix.

  6. Sprinkle cheese and potato chips on top and bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

Beef and Potato Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 cup canned milk
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1/4 cup chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups potatoes sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, milk, quick oats, chili sauce and salt.

  2. In a casserole dish, spread the sliced potatoes on the bottom.

  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. Put hamburger mixture on top.

  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 60 minutes.

Chicken Artichoke Casserole Recipe

Chicken Artichoke Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds cut-up chicken
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 can whole mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2/3 cup chicken consomme
  • 3 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 1 15 oz can artichoke hearts

Instructions

  1. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper and paprika.

  2. Brown chicken in 4 tablespoons butter.

  3. Transfer chicken to casserole dish.

  4. Add remaining butter to skillet and saute mushrooms for 4 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle with flour and add consomme and sherry.

  6. Cook 5 minutes longer.

  7. Arrange artichoke hearts between chicken pieces.

  8. Pour sauce over the casserole and bake at 375 degrees for one hour.
