Indian Corn Dip Recipe

Indian Corn Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1-15 ounce can whole kernel corn drained
  • 1-12 ounce jar taco sauce (mild or spicy according to your taste)
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef.

  2. Drain and add remaining ingredients.

  3. Simmer for 15 minutes.

  4. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Cold Tuna Dip Recipe

Cold Tuna Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 -5 ounce can of tuna
  • 1/2 pint sour cream
  • 1 envelope Italian salad dressing (dry)

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the tuna.

  2. Combine the three ingredients and mix well.

  3. Refrigerate overnight.

  4. Serve on crackers or cocktail bread.

Smoked Salmon Appetizer Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces smoked salmon
  • 24 melba rounds
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or softened cream cheese
  • chives chopped

Instructions

  1. Place a small piece of salmon on each melba toast.

  2. Place a small dab of either sour cream or cream cheese on top and then sprinkle a few pieces of the chopped chives.

  3. You can also do this on cocktail bread or mini bagels.

  4. You could try smoking your own salmon in one of the best natural gas smokers

Rumaki Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 package Bacon
  • 2 cans sliced water chestnuts
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Cut each package bacon into thirds.

  2. Wrap 1 piece bacon around 1 water chestnut and secure with a toothpick.

  3. Bake on cookie sheet for 45 minutes at 350.

  4. Mix ketchup, brown sugar together and pour over bacon pieces.

  5. Bake another 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

Broccoli Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 package (10 ounce) frozen broccoli in cheese sauce
  • 4 tablespoons plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • dash curry powder

Instructions

  1. Cook broccoli according to package directions. 

  2. In a blender container, combine all ingredients.

  3. Cover and process until smooth.

  4. Chill well. Serve with raw vegetables or crackers.

Cheese Dip Recipe

Cheese Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Velveeta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 1 can whole tomatoes drained well and mashed
  • 7 ounce can Ortega diced chilies
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Saute the onion and garlic in butter.

  2. Add the tomatoes, chilies and worcestershire sauce.

  3. In a double boiler, melt the cheese.

  4. Once melted, add the other ingredients. 

  5. Place in a small crockpot or fondue pot to keep warm.

Savory Chinese Chicken Wings Recipe

Savory Chinese Chicken Wings Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 family size package chicken wings or 2 regular size packages
  • 5 ounces Kikkoman soy sauce
  • 1 16 oz bottle Catalina salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried yellow mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried ginger

Instructions

  1. Combine Catalina dressing, Kikkoman soy sauce, brown sugar, yellow mustard, garlic salt, and ginger in a large bowl until well combined.

  2. Place chicken wings in large baking pan.

  3. Pour mixture over wings and coat well.

  4. Let wings marinate overnight.

  5. Bake in 400 degrees oven for 1 1/2 hours.

Deviled Eggs Recipe

Deviled Eggs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs peeled and cut lengthwise
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • paprika to garnish

Instructions

  1. Carefully remove the yolks from the cut eggs and place in a medium bowl.

  2. Mash yolks with a fork and add all remaining ingredients. Mix well.

  3. Spoon mixture back into the egg white halves.

  4. Garnish with a small amount of paprika.

  5. For a slight variation, try honey flavored mustard.

Tuna Puffs Recipe

Tuna Puffs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 can white meat tuna packed in water
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Bring water and butter to a boil.

  2. Add the flour and seasonings into the water and butter mixture and stir until the dough leaves the side of the pan.

  3. Remove from stove and put into a mixing bowl.

  4. Beat each egg, one at a time and add to the mixture in the bowl.

  5. After all 4 eggs are added, flake the tuna and add.

  6. On a baking sheet put teaspoon size balls.

  7. Bake at 400 degrees., until balls puff and begin to turn brown, about 15 minutes.

  8. Reduce heat to 325 and bake an additional 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp cooked
  • 1 cup prepared seafood cocktail sauce (mild or spicy depending on your taste)
  • 2 teaspoon prepared red horseradish
  • 4 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 4 stalks celery finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and serve chilled.
