Cherry Muffins Recipe
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 small jar, about 1/2 cup maraschino cherries with liquid
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cup flour
Stir together dry ingredients.
Add the cherries.
Mix eggs, cherry liquid & melted butter.
Add the dry mix to the wet mix until just combined.
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees.
Note: add one teaspoon almond extract for a great cherry - almond taste
