Sour Cream Coffee Cake Recipe
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup nuts chopped (optional)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 apple peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and white sugar.
Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
In your butter and sugar bowl, alternately add the flour mixture and the sour cream; beating well after each addition
In a separate bowl, mix together the nuts, cinnamon, brown sugar and apple pieces.
Pour half the batter into a bundt pan.
Then pour in half the apple mixture.
Pour in the remaining batter and top with the apple mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
