Apricot Nut Bread Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups dried apricots cut into small pieces
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/3 cup water
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 3 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup nuts chopped
Instructions

Soak apricots in warm water for 2-3 hours. Drain well.

Mix together sugar, butter, eggs, water and orange juice.

SIft dry ingredients into a bowl and then add to sugar mixture.

Mix thoroughly.

Fold in apricots and nuts.

Pour into loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes.
