Crab Filled Mushrooms Recipe
- 24 large mushrooms
- 1 package frozen crabmeat or 1/3 pound fresh crabmeat
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dill
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/3 cup find bread crumbs
- 1 large shallot minced
- 3 tablespoons parsley chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon dill
- 1 tablespoon white wine
- 1/4 cup butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- grated jack cheese
Clean and stem mushrooms.
Combine olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, dill and bay leaf.
Add mushrooms and cook until marinated.
Allow mixture to sit and further marinate. You can even cool overnight to marinate.
Saute shallot and garlic in butter until tender.
Add remaining ingredients, except cheese and continue to saute.
FIll mushrooms with crab mixture and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Broil until brown.
