Baked French Toast Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cups cubed bread cut bread into one inch cubes
- 8 eggs
- 3 cups half and half
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Instructions

Spray a 13x9 casserole dish. Place bread cubes on bottom.

In a large bowl, beat eggs, half and half, sugar, cinnamon, salt and vanilla.

Pour over bread cubes. Refrigerate at least 4 hours, or overnight.

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Bake, uncovered 25 to 35 minutes. Should be golden brown.

You can top this with maple syrup, fresh fruit, jam or fruit sauces.
